Our paid internship program runs for 12 weeks between May/June - August/September 2025. Not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Unfortunately, we do not offer U.S. work visa sponsorship to F-1/OPT/CPT, J-1/TN, or H-1B student graduates at this time. Please note: At this time, this role is only open to entry-level candidates with less than a year of professional experience (this does not include internships/co-ops).

Responsibilities

Your future team

We are looking for Social Media Marketing Interns to complete projects during their time with us. You will play an important role in the planning, publishing, and activation of our strategies across all owned, earned, and paid social media channels. This opportunity allows you to learn and contribute while we build our approach in real-time.

What you'll do

Every day is different on the Atlassian social media team. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you'll have the chance to:

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Community, Talent Brand, and other teams to create an engaging social media campaigns.

  • Foster and expand our social media community, promoting active engagement and growth.

  • Grow compelling content for our diverse social media feeds, from learning to write on-brand copy to producing eye-catching visuals.

  • Keep a pulse on social media trends and conversations to inform and enhance our strategy.

  • Analyze social media performance and offer insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Your background

  • Previous experience in social media content creation (personal or professional) or social media departments/clubs

  • You are curious and passionate about your work

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by June 2026

  • Be able to commit to a full-time role (40hrs / week)

  • Please note: At this time, we are only open to entry-level candidates with less than a year of professional experience (this does not include internships/co-ops)

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $35/hr - $40/hr

Zone B: $32/hr - $36/hr

Zone C: $29/hr - $34/hr

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
