Your future team

We have opportunities for event marketing interns on two different teams within marketing, Global Events and Engagement Marketing Shared Services.

Global Events

This is the team that designs and delivers Atlassian’s biggest events - our annual user conferences (Team and Team Europe), the biggest 3rd Party Industry tradeshows (AWS Re:Invent) and key internal events (Sales Kickoff). Everything from who should be invited to the events, what they’ll do (and eat!), what they’ll learn and experience and what goals we set is done by this team. The event leads are orchestrators, leading cross-functional collaborative teams to deliver the largest and most complex events.

Engagement Marketing Shared Services

This team supports not only Global Events, but also Regional Engagement Marketing, Evangelism and parts of Communities & Learning. We have four “service areas”: Audience Marketing (getting people aware of and to come to events); Reporting & Analytics (what did events and other activities deliver to the business and how do we measure that); Finance & Procurement (budget management, PO/SOW management, procurement and finance liaison, RFPs for event services and tools) and finally Process Excellence (tools, systems and playbooks for designing and delivering events and more).

Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.

In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $34/hr - $44/hr

Zone B: $31/hr - $40/hr

Zone C: $29/hr - $37/hr
